The Billerica Community Farmers Market is governed by a volunteer-run board composed of community members, farmers market vendors, and professionals from diverse backgrounds.
Interested in Joining the Board?
Interested in Committee work?
In addition to attending board meetings held weekly, members also participate in various committees, where they contribute to the market’s weekly activities.
We seek applicants from all backgrounds and with a diverse set of skills. In particular demand are folks who have experience with community outreach, communications, account/financial planning, grant writing / fundraising, and marketing. Familiarity with farmers markets and/or past nonprofit experience is preferred, but not required.
We also welcome people who would like to contribute without the full commitment of becoming a board member. Please consider lending your skills to one of our committees, such as our Market Operations or Marketing Committees.
