It’s tangy, crisp, and mildly sweet with a punch of fresh pepper and dill that I’m sure your family will enjoy. This week, we are pleased to welcome back Ben Couvee, who is a long-time fan of classic pop music. Singing along to recordings of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, and other notable singers of the standards helped him to adapt their music to his own style. Whether you want to sing along or just listen, his sound will set the perfect backdrop for your afternoon, sponsored by the Billerica Cultural Council and the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Don’t miss out on the Big Leaf Contest that is taking place this week too, sponsored by George Simolaris. Everyone is welcome to participate. The measuring will begin at 3:00 pm, and the winners will be announced at 6:00 pm. Good luck! Stop by the demonstration table and Katie will teach you how all-natural vegetable fermentation works. Guess what? We do not need any special chemical kits or ingredients. Everything we need is already provided by Mother Nature.
