Willie T & Doctor X are a dynamic, Boston-based singer/songwriter duo. Long-time veterans of the Boston music scene, their music evokes an overall 1970s roots-rock feel, delivered with an authenticity that comes from growing up with that sound as teenagers and performing it themselves ever since It’s just really fun music, plain and simple. 3-6pm

Katie’s Zucchini Brownies RecipeNOTE: You can substitute finely grated yellow summer squash, carrots, sweet potato, pumpkin or applesauce for zucchini in this brownie recipe!
Step 1: Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
Step 2: Mix sugar, oil, and 2 teaspoons vanilla together in a large bowl until well blended. Combine flour, 1/2 cup cocoa, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl; stir into sugar mixture.
Step 3: Fold in zucchini and chocolate chips; spread batter evenly into the prepared pan. Step 4: Bake in the preheated oven until top is dry and edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan, about 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool, about 20 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
Best Substitutes Yellow Summer Squash: This is the closest match for zucchini. It has the same mild flavor and moisture level, so you can use it in a direct 1:1 ratio without changing the texture. Grated Carrots: Finely shredded carrots add great moisture, similar to how they work in carrot cake. They blend smoothly into the chocolate flavor. Applesauce or Mashed Banana: Use unsweetened applesauce or mashed banana to add the same dense, moist structure. Keep in mind that banana will add a mild fruity flavor to your chocolate base. Grated Sweet Potato or Pumpkin: Cooked, mashed, or finely grated sweet potato works well to provide bulk, fiber, and a fudgy texture.
Tips for Substituting Match the texture: Grate vegetables finely so they melt into the batter as the brownies bake. Watch the moisture: Zucchini adds liquid to brownie batter. If you use a drier substitute like sweet potato or mashed banana, you may need to add a tablespoon or two of milk, water, or oil to keep the brownies fudgy.
Thanks Katie!
